High school students are invited to drop by the Student Employment Job Fair at all 19 Employment Centres throughout the province today from 2 to 6 p.m, including Corner Brook and Stephenville. This month’s job fair offers a new opportunity for students to connect directly with local employers. More than 100 employers have signed on to participate, and in some cases, students may even take part in on-the-spot interviews for available positions. In addition to meeting employers, students can get help with resume and cover letter development, interview preparation, job searching and networking, information on summer jobs, youth entrepreneurship support and volunteer opportunities. The event will feature a guided tour, a presentation on available services and complimentary food and drink.
