It’s been a long time coming but the ownership transfer of the Stephenville International Airport is now in the hands of Carl Dymond. The Dymond Stephenville Dymond International Airport will be busy over the next couple of weeks. Dymond says he’s invested almost 9 million dollars into the bankrupt facility over the past 2 and a half years. He says employees are working on scheduling air services to the area and having flights in and out of Stephenville is a dream of his. Dymond says with a projected hydrogen project, there will be a need to fly in workers. Dymond announced his intentions to buy the Stephenville airport on September 9th, 2021
