Two arrests in Corner Brook during Labour Day weekend

    In once case, a 46-year-old man was arrested and spit on one of the officers

    A relatively quiet labour day weekend in Corner Brook.  RNC say a female was allegedly assaulted and forced into a vehicle early Friday night in the Empire Street area. A 28-year-old man was arrested and the investigation is still ongoing.

    Just before 8 o’clock Saturday night, RNC were called to Main Street after getting a call about a man drinking beer, throwing cans into the roadway and asking people for money. A 46 year Corner Brook man was arrested and spit on one of the officers.
