A 44 year old man is dead after being ejected from a vehicle late Sunday afternoon on the TCH near Cape Ray. He says the driver of the vehicle, a 37-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries. At the hospital, the woman was arrested and faces a charge of refusing to comply with a blood demand. She is set to appear in court on December 3rd.
As well, Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP are investigating after a motor vehicle collision on Friday afternoon resulted in the death of one driver on the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH). The incident involved a sport utility vehicle (SUV) and a tractor trailer. The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer was taken to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
