Two west coast drivers nabbed for excessive speeds this week

    Police say on Monday a 55-year-old driver passed on a solid line travelling at 114 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone on the TCH in South Brook.

    RCMP Traffic Services West took two drivers from behind the wheel this week for excessive speeding. Police say on Monday a 55-year-old driver passed on a solid line travelling at 114 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone on the TCH in South Brook. The man was ticketed, issued a licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded. Later that same day, a vehicle was stopped on the TCH near Birchy Lake travelling 158 km/hr in a 100 km/hr zone. The 21-year old man was ticketed, issued a licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded.
