The show centres around themes including settlement, resilience, challenges, fishing, the fire of 1922, the loss of the ferry in 1985, natural wonders, the future, loyalty and sacrifice.

Woody Point of View is a one-hour music, imagery and story show that celebrates the history and culture of Newfoundland. Hosted by “Tuff” the musical duo of Paul Rumbolt and Kendra Parsons, the show takes place every Thursday night at the “Merchant” in Woody Point. Producer Creator Michelle McCarthy says the inspiration came from thousands of hours living in the town. She says Woody Point is a wonderful community known for its magic and its natural wonder but it also has a vibrant music scene. The show centres around themes including settlement, resilience, challenges, fishing, the fire of 1922, the loss of the ferry in 1985, natural wonders, the future, loyalty and sacrifice.

Meanwhile, Paul Rumbolt says they chose the name “Tuff” due to a familial connection. He says Woody Point has always been home and he grew up playing music. Kendra Parsons is also from Woody Point. Tuff is also set to take to the stage at the Trails Tales and Tunes Festival in Norris Point on May 17th.
