A bit of a break this week for those working at snow clearing in Corner Brook
Public Works Chair Councillor Doonna Wheeler says it’s been a struggle for the past couple of months with double the amount of snow nearly daily making it hard to keep up with snow clearing major routes within 16-24 hours.

On Bayfm with Lenny Bennoit this morning, Mayor Linda Chaisson says the goal was to lower contamination on recyclable materials and numbers are up.

160 tonnes of material recycled during January at Western Reginal Waste Management, up from previous year
Lynn Howse says 867 new items were searched, there were 152 new visitors to the Waste Wizard App, and 23 new searches added to the list.
